Position Overview:

We invite applications for the role of Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to steer our integrative oncology functional medicine clinic. As the apex executive officer, the CEO will manage day-to-day operations, ensure the provision of exceptional patient care, and supervise all departments to uphold operational efficiency. The CEO will delineate the strategic trajectory of the clinic, collaborating with fellow executive leaders, the Chief Medical Officer, ownership, and the Board, while fostering strategic alliances within the local community.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning:

  • Develop and implement the clinic's strategic vision, mission, and long-term goals.
  • Guide the organization through significant changes and growth phases.
  • Keep abreast of healthcare trends and implement best practices.
  • Resolve critical operational dimensions encompassing policy enactment, budget formulation, and staff training and development.

Patient Care:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and industry standards.
  • Manage and oversee all clinic departments and services.
  • Implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.
  • Guarantee the delivery of superior care to patients. Engage with patients daily.

Facility Management:

  • Develop and manage the clinic’s budget.
  • Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
  • Make strategic financial decisions to sustain and grow the clinic’s resources.
  • Ensure proper billing and collection processes are in place.

· Govern all departments to ensure optimal operational performance.

Operational Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the clinic, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and industry standards.
  • Manage and oversee all clinic departments and services.
  • Implement policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency.

Financial Oversight:

  • Develop and manage the clinic’s budget.
  • Monitor financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and profitability.
  • Make strategic financial decisions to sustain and grow the clinic’s resources.
  • Ensure proper billing and collection processes are in place.

Quality Patient Care:

  • Ensure the highest standard of patient care is provided.
  • Oversee the implementation of patient care programs and services.
  • Address patient concerns and ensure satisfaction.

Human Resources:

  • Recruit, hire, and retain high-quality medical and administrative staff.
  • Develop training programs and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Implement performance evaluation processes.
  • Formulate strategies for human resources management, professional development, and financial oversight.

Organizational Structure:

· Architect and execute the clinic’s organizational framework.

Strategic Direction:

· Define the clinic's mission, vision, and overarching strategy in concert with the board of directors.

Compliance and Accreditation:

  • Ensure the clinic adheres to all legal, regulatory, and accreditation requirements.
  • Stay updated on relevant laws and regulations and ensure the clinic’s practices are compliant.
  • Oversee risk management and safety protocols.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Maintain effective communication with the board of directors, staff, patients, and other stakeholders.
  • Represent the clinic in community and professional meetings.
  • Facilitate transparent dialogue within the organization.

Development and Innovation:

  • Promote and implement technological advancements in medical care and clinic management.
  • Encourage innovation in patient care and clinic operations.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships and collaborations with other healthcare providers and institutions.

Marketing and Community Engagement:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to promote the clinic’s services.
  • Engage with the local community to build the clinic’s reputation and attract patients.
  • Manage public relations and handle media inquiries.

Board Liaison:

  • Report to the board of directors, providing updates on clinic performance and strategic initiatives.
  • Seek board approval for major decisions and strategic plans.
  • Collaborate with the board to align clinic goals with organizational objectives.

Clinical Oversight:

  • Work closely with the Chief Medical Officer and other clinical leaders to ensure the provision of high-quality clinical services.
  • Oversee clinical program development and implementation.
  • Monitor clinical outcomes and strive for continuous improvement in patient care.
  • Communication: Facilitate stakeholder communication and articulate the organization's mission with clarity.
  • Partnership Development: Forge strategic partnerships with local infusion centers and radiologists.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Health Administration, Hospital Management (MHA), Master of Business Administration (MBA), or a dual MBA/MHA.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare administration or a related discipline.
  • Preferably certified as a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE).
  • Demonstrated leadership acumen in a healthcare environment.
  • Robust skills in strategic planning, organization, and communication.

Compensation:
The salary range is $170k-$200k annually, contingent on experience and location.
