Decision Technologies seeks a qualified Machine Learning Data Scientist (Mid) to join our on-site team in San Diego, CA, or Arlington, VA. Some hybrid work arrangements may be possible.

Position Description:

This is an exciting opportunity to support the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) and Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) Pacific working on the digital transformation of the Naval Operational Architecture, model-based systems engineering of critical Naval cross-domain mission threads, and cybersecurity engineering of the next-generation Naval information systems and tactical networks. Decision Technologies is seeking motivated individuals with broad skillsets and experiences who can demonstrate a history of achievement in engineering services for the Navy and/or larger DoD.

MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE SECRET OR TS/SCI CLEARANCE

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Review, assess, and provide advice in the development of engineering processes for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) programs and projects
  • Validate data and develop technical models that document architectures, specifications, and requirements for AI/ML and related Data initiatives.
  • Assess and provide advice in the development, review, and publishing of A/ML architectures, standards, competency development models
  • Analyze and author technical papers describing data strategies, data implementation plans, and other critical data technologies to support AI/ML.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Three years of professional experience in data science
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

Travel Requirements:

  • 25% to various Naval activity centers, including San Diego, CA; Washington, DC; Norfolk, VA; Charleston, SC; Denver, CO; and Hawaii.
