Senior Remediation Specialist

California, USA

The Liability Management & Restoration (LM&R) service line is seeking a Senior Remediation Specialist to join the California and North America practice.

This full-time position will be based in California and focus on contributing to the LM&R service line growth. The successful candidate will manage teams in the performance of contaminated site investigations and remediation projects including the development and implementation of remedial strategies leading to site closure. Role will include client meetings, proposal preparation, project execution and management, technical review, regulatory meetings, and client interface. Projects may include a variety of commercial and light to heavy industrial sites for private and government clients.

Overall Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:

* Provide technical review, project execution, and serve as the technical lead for contaminated site investigation and remediation projects.

* Foster client relationships in southern California that support the LM&R service line strategy.

* Support the growth of the LM&R service line through the development of business strategies, client relationships and opportunity pursuits.

* Partner with other Worley business leaders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to connect LM&R's capabilities and expertise to opportunities and projects in the larger Worley business.

* Provide mentorship for junior staff.

Qualifications:

* BS in Environmental Science, Engineering, or Industry-related degree or equivalent qualification.

* Minimum of 10 years of experience including management related to site investigations and remediation projects, including field experience and subcontractor management.

* Expertise with Phase I, Phase II ESA, soil, and groundwater monitoring.

* Professional registration as California Professional Engineer (CA PE) or Professional Geologist (CA PG).

* California Certified Hydrogeologist (CHg) would be a plus but not required.

* Technical skills to review reports and proposals. Experience presenting group capabilities to internal and external clients.

* Ability to foster collaboration across the LM&R service line as well as other parts of Worley.

* Experience contributing to project proposals.

* Ability to solve difficult technical problems, meet regulatory challenges, and present solutions to clients and regulators.

* Communication skills to consult effectively with project staff, technical experts, and clients, to ensure project solutions are appropriately tailored to the client's objectives.

Additional Information:

* This position is in California.

* Salary Range $162,582 to $239,091 USD

* Benefits: eligible for PTO, 401k, medical, vision, dental, etc.
