In the Bell Lab, the postdoctoral scholar will conduct biochemical, molecular and structural biological experiments to elucidate the molecular mechanisms that govern DNA replication in archaea. In addition to performing research projects, the position holder will help to mentor graduate and undergraduate students, lead and/or participate in group lab meetings, assist with publication writing, and attend conferences as appropriate on behalf of the lab.

 

Additional Information:

Required: Ph.D. in a relevant Biological Science ; experience with protein-DNA interaction methods is required. Experience in protein purification, protein-DNA interaction methods and an understanding of approaches to determine structures of macro-molecular protein/DNA complexes.
