Job Summary
The COMPASS Team within Michigan Medicine is looking for an Analyst for our new NIMH project. The Comprehensive Mobile Precision Approach for Scalable Solutions in Mental Health Treatment (COMPASS) project is focused on the effects of machine learning, wearable and mobile technology to both reduce mental health symptoms and predict response to clinic-based treatments.
The Analyst will perform data management, programming, and analysis using participant quantitative data, electronic health records (EHR), mobile phone sensor data, wearable device data (e.g., Fitbit), and other data sources. The individual in this position will be tasked with managing and linking these data sources to allow for novel research. Additionally, this individual will assist researchers in determining the appropriate analytical methodology to meet their needs, use various statistical packages, and summarize and interpret statistical results.

Additional Information
This position is term-limited for about 2 years (ending October 2026) with the possibility of renewal based on need and available funding. At the end of the stated term, your appointment will terminate and will not be eligible for Reduction-in-Force (RIF) benefits. This term-limited appointment does not create a contract or guarantee of employment for any period of time as you will remain subject to disciplinary or other performance measures, up to and including termination, at the will of the University in accordance with existing University policy and standards for employee performance and conduct.
