POSITION SUMMARY:

  • The Advanced Designer reports to the Regional Sr. Director, Design Services
  • Irvine, CA or San Diego, CA or Northern CA

As an Advanced Designer in the construction and foodservice industry, your role signifies a pivotal position within our team. Building upon your senior experiences as a Senior Designer, you now assume an advanced leadership role in driving the success of our commercial kitchen design projects. Your profound expertise and contributions to the creation of draft layouts, production drawings, and presentation materials, coupled with your extensive experience in client engagement, represent invaluable assets that directly influence our team's growth and the outcomes of our projects.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Advanced Leadership and Guidance:

  • Collaborate proactively with our Lead Technical Designers, the Design team, and your peers on various commercial kitchen projects.
  • Embrace an elevated leadership role, guiding and mentoring team members and contributing to all phases of the design process.

Expert Skill Utilization:

  • Continue to leverage your advanced computer skills to enhance the team's capabilities.
  • You will maintain your focus on improving design materials and strategies, utilizing software such as Revit, Navisworks Manage, BIM360, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, AutoCAD, AutoQuotes, KCL, Skype, and Microsoft Office to their fullest potential.

Client Engagement Excellence:

  • Draw from your wealth of experience and knowledge to lead client meetings and oversee project execution, nurturing productive interactions and forging robust client relationships.

Advanced Drawing and Project Management:

  • Assume a heightened level of responsibility for the efficient management of drawings, ensuring their precision and relevance to project objectives.
  • Prioritize project oversight with an unwavering commitment to quality and precision.

Mentorship and Leadership Advancement:

  • Sustain a culture of continuous learning, adaptation, and growth within our dynamic and innovative team.
  • Your mentorship remains instrumental in the development of your team members, and you will mentor less experienced colleagues.

Expanded Responsibilities:

  • Embrace additional responsibilities as needed. Your commitment to the team's success goes beyond routine tasks; you will take the initiative to support projects, lead by example, and contribute your unique skills to drive excellence.

COMPETENCIES:

  • Your vast experience and expertise position you as a masterful leader within the team, playing a pivotal role in achieving project goals, and providing guidance and mentorship to colleagues.
  • Ability to apply advanced problem-solving skills to drive innovative solutions and elevate project outcomes.
  • Your role involves mastery of client engagement and relationship management, ensuring fruitful interactions with clients, and contributing to their satisfaction.
  • Demonstrating a higher level of strategic thinking, you direct the development and execution of complex projects with unwavering focus on delivering the best possible outcomes.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 6 - 8 years of relevant experience, reflecting your unwavering commitment and profound expertise in the field, or equivalent Military or practical experience.
  • Proficiency in advanced computer skills, including software such as Revit, Navisworks Manage, BIM360, Bluebeam, Smartsheet, AutoCAD, AutoQuotes, KCL, Skype, and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Prior experience in the foodservice industry is preferred.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check post offer acceptance.

The range provided represents the national average pay range for this position and is considered to be a general guideline. Pay for this position will reflect the candidate's unique qualifications and may be higher or lower than the range provided based on employee geographic location. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other local, state, and federal law.

In addition to base salary, this role will be eligible for participation in TriMark's' benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, 401K (with employer match), etc. Leadership positions may also qualify for participation in bonus programs commensurate with role and scope of responsibility.
