Job Summary
Xavier University of Louisiana invites applications for the position of Senior Grant Accountant. The Grants and Contracts Accountant will help manage the financial activities of grants and contracts in accordance with University and granting agency policies. EOE/AA
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 2 years related experience. Years of experience in lieu of a degree may also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business; working knowledge of accounting systems; some knowledge of federal regulations.
Special Requirements Summary
- Experience in reconciling highly complex transactions and accounts.
- Experience completing periodic accounting reports based on specific requirements.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
